What does it cost to hire a private investigator?

This is not always an easy answer to this question as the cost can vary depending on the complexity of your matter. At NZ Private Investigators we generally charge an hourly rate and will be able to give an estimate based on similar investigations.

However the more protracted and convoluted your enquiry may become, will make the investigation more expensive. We will liaise with you on an ongoing basis to ensure we are meeting your expectations.   

Is everything confidential?

Yes - NZ Private Investigators values the importance to guarantee confidentiality to its clients.   

Can you access criminal records for an individual?

The short answer is “No”. Unless we have the expressed permission from the individual concerned.   

Where are your offices you can operate out of?

The main office is based in Auckland but we have satellite offices in the Bay of Islands and the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.
